In this seminar, we will explore Ten Biblical Principles to affirm, motivate, and inspire each member of the staff to examine their role as members of the team. These principles will provide a valuable guide which can be used throughout ministry to serve God with excellence and success.
DR. JUDY J. STAMEY is the Director of the Certification Program for Church Administrators at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth.
Judy has served as a church administrator and Christian educator for over 30 years in North Carolina and Texas. Eighteen of those years she served as Minister of Education and Administration at Ridglea West Baptist Church in Fort Worth. The next five years she served as a full time adjunct professor at Southwestern Seminary in Church Administration. Presently, she serves as a church consultant helping many churches and providing training for NACBA chapters in the areas of Personnel and Staff Development. Judy received her B.A. in Religious Education from Gardner Webb University and a M.A. and Ph.D. in Church Administration from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. She is certified in church administration by the NACBA and SBCBAA.
Judy’s honors include: Inducted by NACBA into the Hall of Fame, Distinguished Alumni by Gardner Webb University and Who’s Who at both Gardner Webb and Southwestern Seminary. Judy She has contributed articles in the NACBA Ledger, Church Administration Magazine and all three editions of Church Administration Handbook.
Judy is married to Wade Stamey and they recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They have 3 daughters, 2 grandsons, and 1 granddaughter. Judy and Wade are active members of Travis Ave. Baptist Church in Fort Worth.
